If you have spent any time researching CRM software, HubSpot’s name has almost certainly come up. It is one of the most recognized platforms in the world, used by over 248,000 customers across more than 135 countries. But popularity alone is not a reason to hand over your business data or your budget.
This HubSpot CRM review cuts through the marketing. We tested the platform hands-on, analyzed real user feedback from Capterra and G2, and tracked every pricing and feature update through mid-2026. What we found is a genuinely powerful platform with one significant catch: the cost of unlocking that power grows fast.

What is HubSpot CRM?
HubSpot CRM is an all-in-one customer relationship management platform that brings together sales, marketing, customer service, and content management under one roof. Unlike traditional CRMs that focus purely on contact tracking and pipeline management, HubSpot is built around the idea that your sales team, marketing team, and support team should all work from the same data no silos, no double entry.
The platform is organized into five product “Hubs” Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, and Data Hub each targeting a different part of the customer journey. These hubs work independently or together as a bundled Customer Platform.
HubSpot includes standard CRM features like contact management, pipeline tracking, and deal management but it doesn’t stop there. The CRM also offers marketing automation tools, customer service ticketing systems, content management capabilities, and commerce features.
For small businesses and startups, the biggest draw is simple: the core CRM is free. Not a 14-day trial permanently free, with no credit card required.
HubSpot holds roughly a third of the CRM market share, and as of April 2026, the company is valued at $10.64 billion. That scale means continuous product investment and 2026 has delivered some of the platform’s biggest updates yet (more on that in the features section).
